Merlin Shepherd, 66, of Mason City, died Monday, July 4, 2011, at the Mercy Medical Center North Iowa. Upon Merlins wishes he was cremated and there are no formal services scheduled at this time. Memorials may be directed to the Merlin Shepherd memorial fund in care of the family.
