Michael Dean Rossum

Michael Dean Rossum, 55, of Modesto, California formerly of Mason City died Sunday (May 25, 2003) at his home in Modesto. Memorial services will be held 1:30 PM Wednesday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue, with Rev. Kenneth Hatland officiating. He body was cremated and inurnment will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Michael Dean Rossum Memorial Fund. Michael was born May 13, 1948 in Mason City the son of Gordon Dean and Anna Arlene (Kendall) Rossum. He graduated from Mason City High School in 1968. He was employed by Snell?s Ambulance Service in Mason City before moving to Modesto in December of 1975. He was employed by several different businesses while in Modesto. Michael is survived by his mother; Anna Arlene Rossum of Mason City, Brothers; Roger and wife Deborah of Mason City, Russell of Waverly, Dennis of Mason City, Sister; Mary Ann of Mason City, Uncle; Eugene Kendall and wife Lila of Mason City, 2 nephews, 1 niece, 1 great nephew and a special friend; Ruthie McNatt of Modesto. Michael was preceded in death by his father, maternal and paternal grandparents and long-time special friend; Richard Barton of Modesto formerly of Mason City
