Michelle Micki Morgan

Michelle ?Micki? Lynn Morgan, 38, of Mason City, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, August 5, 2006 in Fort Worth, Texas after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Monday at St. James Lutheran Church, 1148 4th St. SE with Pastor Paul Nelson officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Sunday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue and continue at the church on Monday one hour before services. Memorials may be given to the Michelle ?Micki? Morgan Memorial Fund. Michelle Lynn Romig was born March 31, 1968 in Mason City. She attended school in Mason City. Michelle was a very compassionate loving person who touched the lives of all who knew her. After being diagnosed with cancer, Michelle spent much of her time caring for other people especially the sick. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and the outdoors. Michelle is survived by her children, Aaron Romig and Ruth Redeker of Mason City, Dustin, Morgan and Tara Morgan and their father, Mark Morgan all of Wichita, Kansas, Sean of Minnesota; granddaughter, Elsie Romig; mother, Nancy Bailey and her husband Paul of Mason City; grandmother, Margaret Bartusek of Mason City; brothers, Dale Ficken of Grafton and Mark Whitten of Mason City; sisters, Laurie Ficken of Mason City, Angela Anderson of Mason City, Melinda Ficken of Mason City and Stephanie Bailey of Des Moines; uncles, Ron Bartusek and Bob Bartusek of Mason City; aunt, Donna Henamen of Mason City; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Michelle had many friends who loved and cared for her, you know who you are. Michelle was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Romig; child, Andrew Todd Romig; 2 uncles, Tony and Louis Bartusek.
