Mickey Lynn Peterson

Mickey Lynn Peterson, 75, of Mason City, Iowa, passed away Friday, September 15, 2023, at the Nora Springs Care Center. A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 22, 2023, at 2 p.m., at Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery in Mason City.

Mickey was born the daughter of Merle and Alvina Kingsbury in Mason City, Iowa. Mickey was united in marriage to Roger L. Peterson on October 23, 1971, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. To this union Nicole, Jason and Holly were born. She was a devoted wife and mother. She loved her life and family, and enjoyed her crafts and backyard flowers.

She is survived by her husband, Roger; daughter, Holly; sister, Linda (Bruce) Whipple; in-laws, several nieces and nephews, and special friend, Patty Askelson.

Mickey was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Nicole; son, Jason; and sister-in-law, Deb Peterson.
