Mildred L. Oredsen

Mildred L. Oredsen, 93, of Hampton, passed peacefully Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at the Franklin Country View Nursing Facility, Hampton. Per her request, her body will be cremated. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Inurnment will also be held at a later date in the Hampton Cemetery, Hampton. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of North Iowa or St. Paul Lutheran Church, Hampton.

Mildred was born August 15, 1922 in Hampton, Iowa the daughter of Hugo and Emma (Hopkey) Ahlberg. She was united in marriage to James “Pete” Oredsen January 31, 1946 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hampton. They farmed north of Hampton for 30 years. Mildred was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Hampton.

Mildred is survived by 1 sister, Mavis Ahlberg.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 daughter, Nancy Ann Graham and her husband, James “Pete” Oredsen.
