Mildred M. Beyer

Mildred M. Beyer, 79,of 201 East Washington, Fertile, died Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at home. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue with Rev. Samuel Hamilton-Poore officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at Major Erickson Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to the Mildred M. Beyer Memorial Fund. Mildred was born June 8, 1926 in Osceola, Iowa the daughter of Glen and Hazel (Busick) Schader. She graduated from Council Bluffs High School. Mildred married Stanton Conger and they would later divorce. She married Ronald E. Beyer June 10, 1978 in Albert Lea, Minnesota. Mildred worked for Winnebago Industries for 12 years. She retired in 1989. Mildred was a member of the Moose Lodge and VFW. She enjoyed camping and pets, especially her dog Mitzi. Mildred is survived by her husband; Ronald E. Beyer of Fertile, son; Bob J. Conger and wife Linda of Osceola, daughters; Cindy Meier and husband Kenny of Blue Grass, Susan Franklin of Arizona, grandchildren; Micki, Stevi and Marti Meier all of Blue Grass, brother: Bob Schader and wife Beverly of Osceola. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents.
