Mollie Davis

Mason City: Mollie E. Davis, 85, died at the IOOF Home on Thursday, September 20, 2007. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, September 24, 2007, at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave, with the Pastor Scott Sokol officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00PM to 5:00PM, Sunday (September 23, 2007) at Major Erickson Funeral Home, and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Mollie was born November 12, 1921 in Belmond, Iowa, the daughter of Peter and Omie (Nolda) Green. Mollie was married to Charlie A. Davis on April 10, 1945 in Little Falls, MN. Mollie worked for Armour in Quality Control for 10 years before retiring in 1984. While Mollie enjoyed her work, family was her main focus. She is survived by her son, Jerry Davis and wife Vicky of Mason City; sister, Ann Boonstra of Mason City; grandson, Stephen Davis and wife Miranda of Savage, MN; and granddaughter, Amy Arhart and husband Christopher of Mason City; three great-grandchildren, Neelie and Ian Davis and Landon Arhart. She is also survived by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Charlie; two brothers, Peter and George Green; one sister, Elizabeth Groh; and one son, Charles Arthur Davis.
