Neil W. Binnebose

MASON CITY: Neil Binnebose, age 91, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014, at his home. A private family burial will take place in Lynn, MN at a later date. Neil William Binnebose was born December 22, 1922 on the family farm in Lynn, MN to Julius and Amelia (Tank) Binnebose. He worked on the family farm until joining the 11th Airborne in the U.S. Army and served in WWII. After the war, he returned to farm. On January 7, 1953, He married Betty Jorgenson. They lived in Marshall, MN and had 4 children. They moved their family to Mason City, where he worked until 1978 when they moved to California to manage property until his retirement to Springfield, Oregon. Neil loved traveling, gardening, cooking, and the Minnesota Vikings. Survivors include his children: Craig (Janelle) Binnebose and Karen (Ron) Bull; son-in-law Dallas Johnson; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife Betty; daughter, Paula Johnson, and son, Mark Binnebose.
