Pamela L. Charlson

Pamela Lynn Charlson, 70, of Clear Lake, passed away Friday, May 29, 2015 at the Lake Mills Care Center. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 PM Friday, June 19, 2015 at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue, Mason City. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her memory may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Pam was born in Richmond, California to Bill and Yvonne (Hildreth) Haltom on September 5, 1944. At a young age, her family moved to Des Moines, Iowa where she graduated from Des Moines East High School. Pam married Ronald Charlson December 6, 1975 in Lake Mills. Pam loved living on the lake, entertaining her friends and taking her grandsons boating and tubing. She was also an avid reader, and enjoyed watching decorating and cooking programs. Pam is survived by her husband, Ronald Charlson of Clear Lake; her children, Melissa (Joe) Fruscella, Jason (Shelley) Kinker and Christopher (Mindy) Charlson all of St. Louis, Missouri; her grandsons, Will Kinker and Max, Sam and Giovanni Fruscella. Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Yvonne Haltom. The family of Pam wishes to extend our sincere thanks and love to everyone who helped her through her courageous battle with cancer.
