Patricia A. Morgan

Patricia A. Morgan, 75, of 304 3rd Street NE, died Thursday, September 20, 2007 at her home. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday at St. John?s Episcopal Church, 120 1st Street NE with Rev. Wendy Abrahamson officiating. Inurnment will be in Elk Creek Cemetery, rural Kensett. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue. Memorials may be given to the Patricia A. Morgan Memorial Fund. Pat was born July 15, 1932 in her parents home in Mason City to Halvor O. and Beulah H. (Highsmith) Banken. She attended Mason City Schools. On February 14, 1949, she married Don M. Morgan, and they had four children; Danny Michael, Christopher Marc, Steve Patrick, and Donna Lynn. She loved her job as a floral arranger for 30 years and also did in home health care for 13 years. Pat also worked as an Escort for Good Shepherd Care facility ? assisting residents on trips to appointments. She loved her family and loved spending time with them. She is survived by her sons, Danny Morgan and Steve Morgan, and daughter, Donna; 14 grandchildren ? especially Daniel Hempfner and wife Kris, Ruth Hildahl and Masako Morgan; 16 great grandchildren ? most special, Kari, Colton, Allison Hildahl and Jacob, Jordan, and Parker Hempfner. She was preceded in death by her parents, Helvor O and Buelah H. Banken; one son, Chris Morgan, two brothers, Edward Banken and Richard Banken; two sisters, Nina Fewins and Hazel Moore; one sister-in-law, Deloris Banken; two brothers-in-law, Oscar Fewins and Kenneth Moore.
