MASON CITY Patricia Jean Krager, 84, of Mason City passed away Saturday, March 26, 2011, at Good Shepherd Health Center. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, (March 31, 2011) at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave., with the Rev. Paul Collier of First Presbyterian Church officiating Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A gathering of friends and family will be held 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 1, 2011 at the Horan Funeral Home, 420 Bay St., Chippewa Falls, WI 54729, burial will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls, WI. Memorials may be directed to the Patricia J. Krager Memorial Fund, in care of the family. Patricia Jean Krager was born March 12, 1927 in Mason City, the daughter of Arthur G. and Pearl (Robarge) Krager. She attended nursing training at the University of Minnesota, graduating in 1948. She worked as a nurse in Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, and Nevada. She left nursing for approximately ten years and enjoyed dealing Roulette in Casinos in Reno and Lake Tahoe, NV. In 1951 she married Harry Riordan who was involved in Casino Security. She returned back to Mason City where she was employed by the Kemper Insurance Co. She resided at the Manor in Mason City and she took great pleasure in being the Librarian. She also enjoyed all types of crafts and researching the history of the Hanford Hotel. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her brother, William Krager and wife Jo of Kenai, AK; an aunt and uncle, Isabel and Richard Krager of Chippewa Falls, WI and a very special friend, Nancy Paine of Mason City, IA.She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Harry Riordan
