Patrick W. Hasty

Patrick W. Hasty, 72, of 234 East North Street, died Saturday (August 23, 2003) at home. A memorial mass will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 412 North Broadway, with Rev. David Kucera officiating. Inurnment will take place in Elmwood Cemetery with military rites conducted the by Mason City Memorial Association. There will be no visitation. The body was cremated. Memorials may be given to the Patrick W. Hasty Memorial Fund. Patrick was born December 16, 1930 in Minneapolis, Minnesota the son of Patrick and Lillian (Vendetti) Hasty. He married Marie V. Adams August 5, 1972 in Canton, South Dakota. They later moved to Manly. Patrick was employed by David Manufacturing and Armour Company but took early retirement due to his health. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, enjoyed fishing, dancing and the good times he shared with family and friends spending summers in Siren, Wisconsin. Patrick is survived by his children; Marvin Adams and special friend Debra Meyer Hoffer of Mason City, Susan Nitcher and special friend Robert Quast of Burlington, Paula Weaver and husband Cecil of Mason City, Mathew Adams and wife Deborah of Orland, CA, Mary Adams and special friend Donald Hutzell of Marble Rock, Marsha Haberkorn and husband Dennis, 22 Grandchildren, 38 great Grandchildren, 1 great great Grandchild, Sisters; Mary Frederickson and husband Murray of Richfield, MN, Dorothy Wellen and husband Robert of Lombard, IL. Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, wife; Marie, 2 brothers; Ray and Tom, sister; Phyllis Warn
