Pauline O. Mortenson-North

Pauline O. Mortenson-North, 91, of 302 2nd St. NE, died Friday (April 1, 2005) at the Good Shepherd Health Center. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue with Rev. Kenneth Hatland, Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be given to the Pauline O. Mortenson-North Memorial Fund. Pauline was born October 14, 1913 in Westdale, New York the daughter of Earl and Ann Elizabeth (Watson) March. At an early age, her family moved to Lu Verne, Iowa. Pauline graduated from Mason City High School. She married Maurice Mortenson May 28, 1938 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mason City. Pauline was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed sewing, playing cards, traveling and gardening. Pauline is survived by her son, Todd Mortenson of Brownsdale, MN; 2 brother-in-laws, Glen Blunt of Mason City, Harold Schipper and wife Dolly of Mason City. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Maurice and brother, Watson.
