Pauline Y. Gaudreau

Mason City Pauline Y. Gaudreau, 69, of 112 9th St. N.W., Mason City, died Tuesday, November 3, 2009, at Mercy Medical Center - North Iowa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. on Friday (November 13, 2009) at Holy Family Catholic Church, 714 North Adams, with Msgr. Joseph Slepicka officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to Sisters of the Holy Cross, 357 Island Pond Rd. Manchester, NH 03109.
Pauline was born on May 11, 1940, in Pawtucket, R.I., the daughter of Leo and Antoinette (Auclair) Gaudreau. She attended St. Cecilias School in Pawtucket and Le Couvent Jsus Marie in Woonsocket. She graduated from Tolman High School in Pawtucket and earned a couple of degrees from the U. of R.I. She was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. She was a hard worker having owned the tropical fish and pet shop in Mason City and enjoyed life to the full.
Pauline is survived by her brother: Rev. Robert Gaudreau of Pawtucket, R.I.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
