Reba V. Davison, 98, of 1142 E. State Street, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2006 at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 18, 2006 at Memorial Park Cemetery, with Rev. Patti Aurand officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue. Reba was born April 26, 1908 in Le Grand, Iowa, the daughter of Anston and Lillian (Snyder) Stanfield. Reba was united in marriage to Leslie Falt in 1933 in Omaha, Nebraska and to this union two children were born. Mr. Falt died in 1949. In 1960 she married Bert Davison in Mason City. She attended school in Iowa Falls and received her nurses training in Iowa City. She worked at Mercy Hospital for five years, and then later worked at Park Hospital until 1970. Reba enjoyed her dog, going to sewing club, watching Lawrence Welk and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ and the Eastern Star White Shrine. Reba is survived by her daughter, Sandra Huber and husband Loren of Mason City, IA, 4 grandchildren; Paul Huber and wife Janice of St. Paul, MN, Doug Huber and wife Kristie of Mason City, Cynthia Olson and husband Bob of Milwaukee, WI and Jessica Johnson and husband Will of Tusayan, AZ; 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Reba was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1968; and her son, Robert Falt.
