Rex G. Brunner

Rex G. Brunner, 51, of 24 11th St. NE died Wednesday (March 18, 2003) at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa. Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM Friday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue with Rev. Scott Duffus, St. James Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will in Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday at Major Erickson Funeral Home as well as Patrick?s Sports Bar & Grill, 1701 S. Federal 2:00 PM Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Rex G. Brunner Memorial Fund. Rex was born December 7, 1951 in Mason City the son of George and Evelyn (Frenz) Brunner. He attended schools in Mason City. Rex was currently self-employed as a floor-covering contractor. He enjoyed fishing, music and having a good time. Rex is survived by his wife; Mindy of Mason City, Children; Adam Brunner, Lindsey Brunner, Shawna Miller and Aaron Miller, Grandchildren; Izac and Cloey, Mother; Evelyn Donovan and husband Fred of Mason City, Sister; Georgia Franks of Nora Springs, Brother; Ron Brunner and wife Lucy of Mason City, Mother-in-law; Terry Beavers of Mason City, Father-in-law; Vern Clausen of Mason City, 1 Brother-in-law, several sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
