Mason City Rhonda K. Best, 36, of Mason City, died Thursday, October 28, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa. Memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 3, 2010, at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue with the Rev. Ron Stein of the First Baptist Church officiating. Gathering of friends and family will be held one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Rhonda K. Best Memorial Fund in care of her daughter. Rhonda K. Best was born on January 25, 1974 in Mason City, Iowa, to her parents Robert F. and Nancy (Wheeler) Best. Rhonda has a daughter Paige Murphy who attends Mason City High School. Rhonda enjoyed the outdoors and everything about it from nature to camping. She was a very kind person with a kind hearted soul and always helped out those in need. She enjoyed animals and especially Chihuahua dogs which she rescued and bred. Rhonda owned Bests Cleaning Service for 17 years and served customers throughout the Mason City area. She was a wonderful mother, sister, aunt, daughter and friend. Rhonda will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. A special note from her daughter Paige follows, I loved my mother very much and I always will. Nothing will ever be able to replace her spot in my heart. Im just glad shes out of pain. Rest in peace, mom, I love you.
She is survived by her daughter, Paige Murphy of Mason City; a sister Bobbie Anderson and brother Travis Best; step-sister, Jami Torres and husband Adam; nieces Kattiie Clark and husband Mark, Gina Bilyeu, Randi McKinley, Sydney Rooker, Kyha Torres; nephews Lee Best, Luke Rooker, Dammon Torres, niece, Stevie McKinley,; great nieces Olivia Clark, Kailey Bilyeu; great nephew Elijah Bissette-Martenia and Grandpa Randy Garcia, step-dad, and extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother Nancy Garcia, uncle, Kenneth Wheeler, and grandfather Eugene Wheeler,
