Robert 'Bob' J. Wilson

MASON CITY: Robert “Bob” James Wilson, age 64, of Mason City, IA, passed away Monday, January 19, 2015, at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, January 23, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 213 N Pennsylvania Avenue with Pastor Kathy Graves officiating. Inurnment will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City. Robert was born February 18, 1950 in Mason City to James and Clara (King) Wilson. He graduated from Mason City High School in 1968 and attended North Iowa Area Community College. Robert was united in marriage to Karen Query on September 17, 1988. He worked for Bergo’s Clothiers, Gildner’s, and various auto part wholesalers for 40 years; most recently Uniselect. Bob loved cars; he enjoyed drag racing and building cars. He was always willing to help others who shared his passion. Robert is survived by his wife, Karen, Mason City; daughter, Macy Wilson, Fort Worth, TX; Sister: Rhonda Mitchell (Darren Pitra) Bettendorf, IA; brother, Jon (Virginia) Wilson, Boise, ID; Mother-in-law, June Sandvik, Mason City; Sister-in-law, Jill Query, Clear Lake, IA; nephews: Tyler and Zach; niece, Elaine; and great-niece, Ava. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Tanner; and his brother, David.
