Roger W. Felker

CLEAR LAKE: Roger W. Felker, 76, of Clear Lake, died Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the Manly Nursing & Rehab Center. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue with Pastor Ed Bard, Chaplain, Hospice of North Iowa officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Wednesday. Memorials may be directed to the Humane Society of North Iowa. Roger was born February 20, 1939, in Worth County to Elmer and Elinor (Nicewarner) Felker. He had one sister, Ardis Felker. Roger spent most of his adult life working on the family farm. His dogs, Tippi 1, 2 and 3, brought him great joy in life as did his frequent visits to McDonalds for an early lunch. Roger was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents and sister. He is survived by his aunt, Florence Felker, and his cousins Ron and Larry Felker.
