Sandy then moved to Opportunity Village in one of the cottages where she met many new friends, she liked working in the shop several hours a day, went on field trips, picnics, and was very active in the Special Olympics where she won many medals. She liked to pack her suitcase and go with her aunt Pauline for the weekend. She then moved to the duplex in 1998 where she had full-time staff care. She loved looking at photos, magazine’s, watching television and going to McDonald’s for Strawberry Malts. Aunt Pauline spent many hours with her playing games and sending her cards. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
