Steven R Price

Steven R. Price, 63, of Joice, died Thursday, January 14, 2016 at his home. Memorial services will be at 10:30 AM Monday, January 18, 2016 at the Major Erickson Funeral Home with the Pastor Wendy Johannesen officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Elmwood – St. Joseph Cemetery, Mason City, Iowa.

Steve was born August 23, 1952 the son of Edwin L. and Della E. (Hanig) Price in Iowa Falls, Iowa. As Steve grew up his love for the outdoors also grew. He soon became an avid hunter of the whitetail deer, archery and looked forward to his time fishing. Steve enjoyed his trips to the Boundary Waters, camping with family and friends, and spending time at the cabin. Steve’s craftsmanship was quit evident in his wood working talents. His most cherished time was spent with his family.

Those thankful for having shared in Steve’s life include his children and grandchildren; Bridgette Price of Mason City, Iowa, Chad (Sam) Price and Harper of Parkersburg, Iowa, Matt (Crystal) Price and Brayden and Alexsia of Forest City, Iowa, Renee (Eric) McGuire and Aiden of Appleton, Wisconsin, Rachel (Mike) Hanck of Toledo, Ohio, one brother; Ron (Jo) Price of Rockwell, Iowa and one sister; Janis Slater of Grafton, Iowa.

Mr. Price was preceded in death by his parents; Edwin and Della Price, sister; Marlys Price and a brother in law; Dennis Slater.
