Tracey Lynn Lorentzen

Tracey Lynn Lorentzen, 52, of Mason City, died Monday, April 17, 2017 at the Linn Haven Rehabilitation and Healthcare, New Hampton, IA. Memorial services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 North Pennsylvania Ave. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time.

Tracey was born November 16, 1964 the daughter of William and Katherine Lorentzen in Mason City, Iowa. Tracey enjoyed working on her scrapbooks, crocheting projects and playing bingo. She loved to talk on the phone with her family and friends for hours. She looked forward to entertaining at the holidays and being surrounded by her family. Tracey had a huge heart and was always there with a helping hand if one needed it.

Those thankful for having shared in Tracey’s life include her children, Mariah Collins, Dylan Collins, William “Al” Collins, Jeremy (Jill) Collins; step mother, Karen Lorentzen; step sister, Melody Harty; nine grandchildren, Wyatt Collins, Simon Collins, Mycah Collins, Ariahna Cowell, Damien Collins, Ava Collins, Summer Collins, Kadin Collins, Saige Collins; two uncles, Gerald Lorentzen, Robert (Carol) Lorentzen; one aunt, Virginia (David) Funnell; one niece, Stacy Lynch and many cousins and close friends.

Ms. Lorentzen was preceded in death by her parents, step father, Clarence Ward and a special friend, William Collins.
