Virginia “Dolly” Maxine Theilen, 87, of Mason City, passed away Monday, September 14, 2020, at her home.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2020 from 5-8 p.m., at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 North Pennsylvania.
Private family services will also be held.
Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Virginia Maxine Theilen was born on April 20, 1933 to parents Charles and Freida (Bruhn) Bahl in Mason City, Iowa. Virginia graduated from Mason City High School and on June 20, 1953, she was united into marriage to Albert C.H. Theilen in Mason City. To this union, 6 children were born.
Dolly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She always cherished her time spent at family reunions and gatherings. She loved the holidays, especially Christmas; and she was famous for baking her amazing cookies. She loved her country music, and was always listening to tapes or watching music videos. Dolly was an amazing mother, sister, wife, and friend, and she will be greatly missed.
Dolly is survived by her 6 children, Ricky T. (Dana) Theilen, Vicky (Scott) Appel, Micky (Linda) Theilen, Michael Theilen, Kerry Theilen, and Misty Theilen; sister, Goldie Davis; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, and sisters-in-law.
Dolly was preceded in death by her husband, Albert C.H. Theilen; brothers, Virgil Bahl, Ray Bahl, and Richard Bahl; sister, Pearl Quayle; parents, Charles and Freida Bahl; granddaughter, Jena Chandler DeGeest; and special friend, Dean Trappe.
