Virginia Rush

Virginia Ruth Rush, 50, of 707 North Federal, Mason City died Thursday, June 24, 2004 of natural causes at her home in Mason City. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM, Monday, June 28, 2004 at First Assembly of God Church, 1301 North Carolina Ave., with Rev. Charles Westendorf officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM ? 5:00 PM on Sunday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 North Pennsylvania Avenue. A memorial fund has been established in her name. Virginia Ruth Rush, the daughter of Robert and Charlotte (Bull) Rush, was born March 16, 1954, in Mason City. She attended school at Mason City Community Schools and graduated in 1973. She worked for Burger King for six years. Virginia enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her nephews and great-nieces. She was known as a good friend to everyone that knew her. She is survived by her parents, Robert and Charlotte Rush; two brothers, Robert Rush and wife Phyllis, Kurt Rush and wife Kathy; three nephews, Kelly and wife Michelle, Aaron, Jordan and three great-nieces, Taia, Kaitlyn, and Kourtney, all of Mason City. Virginia is proceded in death by her brother, Kevin; grandparents, Charles and Grace Rush, and Guy and Bessie Bull.
