Wayne A. Page, 76, of 4 3rd St. NE, died Monday (October 27, 2003) at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit. Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 419 N. Delaware, with Rev. Mark Lavrenz officiating. Inurnment will be in the Elmwood Cemetery Columbarium. There will be no visitation; the family will greet friends at the church prior to the service. Memorials may be given to the Wayne A. Page Memorial Fund. Wayne was born October 15, 1927 in Mason City the son of Arthur D. and Ina (Pearce) Page. He attended Mason City schools. Wayne worked as a truck driver for Dewitt Trucking. He received many safety awards during his driving career. Wayne married Beverly A. Christian September 11, 1949 in Mason City. He was active in Mason City Trail Riders Association, loved raising horses and attending rodeos with his son Steve. He enjoyed spending time outdoors on his acre ridge, watching football and old western movies. Wayne also enjoyed taking trips with his grandsons and attending their sporting activities. He spent time with friends at his favorite hangout, Pro?s Sandwich Shop. Wayne is survived by his son; Steven A. Page and wife Mary of Mason City, grandsons; Brandon, Bryce and Brock Page of Mason City, great-granddaughters; Miranda and Justice, great-grandsons; Brody and Devan. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Beverly, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
